JAMES A. GOLDSMITH

PRESIDENT & CEO

Mr. James Goldsmith, a 1982 graduate from Cornell University, specialized in investments at Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate in Miami. In 1984, he was the top retail leasing salesperson in the Miami office and was the recipient of the 1985 Top Investment Salesperson Award for Southern United States. After leaving Coldwell Banker in 1986, Mr. Goldsmith started Gator Investments as a development, management, and brokerage company. To date, he has developed and / or renovated over 10,000,000 square feet of retail and specialty properties along with 2,000 apartment units and has been responsible for the development, sales, and leasing of over a half billion dollars of real estate.

DOUGLAS S. MISKA

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT RESIDENTIAL

Mr. Douglas Miska has been active in the Florida real estate marketplace for 20 years. His extensive experience includes serving as Senior Sales Consultant at Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate in Miami for the Multi-Family Investment Division. At Coldwell Banker, Mr. Miska earned the honor of number one salesperson in 1987 and the prestigious top earning salesperson award presented every five years based on highest cumulative sales. Currently, Mr. Miska serves as President of Gator Realty and Management, Inc., with personal sales and development of investment property of over one half billion dollars. Mr. Miska manages approximately 2,000 apartments units and has been responsible for extensive renovations of over 500 rental units.

WILLIAM GOLDSMITH

Mr. William Goldsmith, a graduate of Skidmore College and University of Richmond School of Law, brings multifaceted talents to the team of Gator Investments. In addition to his property management abilities, Mr. Goldsmith is an Attorney and has expertise in zoning issues, construction contracts, and drafting leases and other legal documents. In recognition of his outstanding management of properties owned by Gator Investments, Mr. Goldsmith has been appointed to oversee the renovation of retail properties.

DINA BARTOLETTA, J.D.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF RETAIL LEASING

Dina Bartoletta graduated from the University of Miami School of Law and is a member of The Florida Bar and the International Council of Shopping Centers. She has been with Gator Investments for over 25 years and is responsible for leasing its portfolio of 130 properties in 22 states and Puerto Rico. Dina is accredited with closing approximately 1,500 lease transactions involving more than 2,000,000 square feet.

GARFIELD DACAS, BSA, MACC

CONTROLLER

Mr. Garfield Dacas holds a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in accounting degree from Nova Southeastern University. He has over 20 years of general accounting experience from various industries. Garfield has been with Gator Investments since 2007 and he is currently responsible for all accounting, budgeting, personnel, MIS, insurance and cash management.

SHERI-GAYE K. POWELL, ESQ.

ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL

Ms. Sheri-Gaye Powell, a member of the Florida and New York Bar, joined Gator Investments in 2018, where she focuses her practice on a diverse range of issues affecting the commercial division of Gator including development, construction, and leasing transactions. Ms. Powell earned her undergraduate from Florida State University, magna cum laude, and her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. Prior to joining Gator, Ms. Powell worked as in-house counsel for an investment firm having a portfolio valued at nearly $1 billion.

DAISSEL CASTILLO

CONTROLLER/RESIDENTIAL DIVISION

Mrs. Daissel Castillo holds a degree in accounting from Florida International University. She has experience in development, property management and HUD properties. She has overseen more than 2,000 tax credit units in addition to the accounting for commercial and industrial properties totaling 100,000 square feet.

CHRISTINA LADD-CAMACHO

DIRECTOR OF RETAIL LEASING & MARKETING

Christina Ladd-Camacho is from Huntington, West Virginia and a graduate of Marshall University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing with summa cum laude honors. She has been with Gator Investments for over fifteen years, joining the company shortly after graduating in 2004. She serves as the Director of Retail Leasing responsible for leasing Gator’s shopping center portfolio. Christina holds a Florida real estate license and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2017 she received a Master of Science in International Real Estate (MSIRE) from Florida International University College of Business.
